About me
Welcome! I am an applied economist who designs, implements, and evaluates social interventions.
I am Associate Professor at the University of Middlesex and Profesor Investigador Titular at CIDE.
I earned my PhD in Economics from the University Essex, my MSc in Economics from University College London, and my BSc in Economics from CIDE.
My academic work has been published in the American Journal of Political Science, Economic Letters, the International Journal of Forecasting, and Judgement and Decision Making, among other outlets.
My most recent research focuses on increasing schooling enrolment and learning outcomes in rural communities in developing countries.
I have taught courses in microeconomics, development economics, econometrics, and experimental methods.
